In this summer holiday  drop-off Camp (individual days can also be booked), the children will learn about robotics and coding through the use of various robots to grasp key programming and engineering concepts in a fun learning environment.

No prior coding experience necessary. If your child has been to one of these workshops before, then their learning will be extended further and they will not have to repeat the same content as before.

Minecraft Coding

Students will explore coding through Minecraft Education, using commands, coordinates, logic, automation, and AI-style problem solving to bring their ideas to life in the game. They will build interactive worlds, automate tasks, and learn key coding concepts in a fun, creative environment.

Scratch Coding

Create your interactive game or experience with Scratch!  Learn about user interaction design and Scratch programming. By the end of this course you’ll have created your own interactive projects through Scratch programming.

  • Learn about new blocks that allow you to make secret codes and gesture controls for your Scratch games
  • Bring your virtual game into the real world.
  • Learn about programming concepts such as loops, conditionals, IF/THEN/ELSE statements

Game Design

Make games rather than play them using your own ideas! Become game developers for a day using a physical and virtual platform for creating video games in the classroom. When students build games, they become the writers, artists, designers, and developers of their own interactive stories.

It all starts with an idea. We provide resources that encourage collaboration while guiding students through a design thinking process. Students create their own 13-bit layouts, characters, and art for their game.

Mini Python Coding

A beginner-friendly introduction to Python where students learn the basics of real text-based coding. They will explore simple commands, variables, loops, conditions, game designing and mini projects, helping them build confidence with one of the world’s most popular programming languages.
